These are many emotions we experience in our everyday life. We all have our ups and downs, our “off? days and our “on? days.
But if you’re suffering from bipolar disorder, these peaks and valleys are more severe. Bipolar disorder also known as manic depression or manic-depressive illness involves dramatic shifts in mood from the highs of mania to the lows of major depression.

Depression can sap your strength, and take away all of your motivation and drive to live your life. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you had the ability to be in charge of and eliminate your depression just by having certain thoughts? I know that this sounds too good to be true, but quite often; various types of depression are only caused by having negative thoughts.
Some people call it the ‘blues’ and some people call it the ‘pits’ and some just call it ‘feeling down in the dumps’. But whatever you call it, being depressed is a terrible feeling.
