The New York Yankees, at 4-5, boast one of the worst offenses in MLB, gigantic payroll and all. The Yankees have begun having a penchant for not just losing, but losing to MLB bottom-feeders.
The Yankees, looking lifeless and listless, got shut out by the Royals, 4-0, behind the pitching of Zack Greinke. The 2008 MLB is following a disturbing pattern for the Yankees, as they fall to good pitching, even if not name-brand variety. Greinke cuffed the Yankees to 5 hits over 8 innings of shutout ball.
