If any person shows any symptom of having depression, then he should visit his family doctor as soon as possible. The doctor might need to perform other tests to make sure that the symptoms are for depression and not of any other illness having common symptoms.

This article is a very personal one for me. I went to my family physician the other day because every joint that I had seemed to hurt. His diagnosis after many tests was that I had a mild form of gout. I thought gout was a disease of the rich from the Middle Ages. Surely not in the 2000s. So I started researching and this is what I found. I thought there might be a few others that would like this information.

The ways for you to include exercise in your daily life are innumerable and range from taking a walk every day to joining a health club to buying sophisticated exercise equipment. Before you spend a lot of money on your exercise program, be aware that the amount of money you spend has no effect on your motivation to use it. Many people try to trick themselves into exercising by thinking that if they spend a lot of money, they’ll be sure to use whatever it is they purchased. It doesn’t work. In fact, the amount of money you spend on home exercise equipment is directly proportional to the amount of guilt you feel when you turn it into a clothes rack. If you have guilt-producing exercise equipment at home that you know in your heart you’ll never use, sell it!

The Budget for 2008 is set to be delivered tomorrow at 12.30pm by the Chancellor Alistair Darling. I’m sure you’ve already seen the press coverage suggesting that Alistair Darling is merely presenting Gordon Brown’s measures as former Chancellor himself.
Among the changes likely to be announced are increase in ‘green taxes’ things like 4×4 drivers being hit hard again and help for people struggling to pay their bills. The government is expected to continue incentivise low emission cars. It’s just a shame they seem to be intent on pricing everyone else off the road with extortionate fuel prices. I wouldn’t mind so much if public transport was actually any good! If I were to try and complete my 20 mile journey to work every day by public transport it would take me around 2 and half hours to do a journey that takes half an hour to 40 minutes in a car. I’m simply not going to do it!!
